1. How long will it take to wrap my vehicle?
Installation time will vary with the size and contour of your vehicle. Typically, your vehicle can be wrapped and ready inside of 3-5 business days. Specific estimates can given with an on-site inspection of the vehicle.
2. What distinguishes a full wrap from a partial wrap?
A full wrap typically includes customization on every panel of the vehicle. Partial wraps involve applying graphics to targeted portions of the vehicle and are priced out on an individual basis based on square footage of material and difficulty to install.
3. Are there any pre-installation instructions that I need to be aware of before I bring my vehicle(s) ?
As a general suggestion, please be aware of the condition of your vehicle’s body and paint.
Also, all vehicles must be free of dust, mud, wax, oil, and other agents that may prevent the vinyl from adhering to the paint surface.
4. How do you wrap my windows?
We use perforated “One-Way” vinyl that allows the driver and passengers to see out, while observers see the graphic. For your safety, we do not offer wrapping of either the front windshield or front passenger window.
5. How durable are vehicle graphics once installed?
Because we use both high-quality vinyl and laminate, your finished product can typically last up to 4 to 6 years, if cared for properly.
6. If my vinyl vehicle wrap graphics are damaged, can they be fixed?
In most circumstances, when there is damage, it is not necessary to redo the whole vehicle wrap. We can usually isolate the work to the piece or panel affected. We can assess these instances and corresponding prices on a case-by-case basis.
7. How do I properly care for my wrap, once it is installed?
- After installation, wait 3 weeks before washing your vehicle.
- Avoid high pressure washes, rather it is best to wash your car by hand.
- Avoid scraping anything hard across the decal material (such as an ice scraper). Instead, it is recommended that you sweep or brush it off with a soft broom.
- Avoid the use of harsh chemicals when cleaning the outside of your vehicle. This can deteriorate the protective laminate we apply.
8. Will the vinyl cause damage to my paint when removed?
We use the highest quality 3M vinyl for a number of reasons, one of them being that it makes for a safer removal process. Original factory paint jobs, in good condition, should not be affected. If there are existing blemishes such as chips in the paint or aftermarket reparations could peel upon removal.
